What Makes Our Color Unique

At Legacy Hair By Kaur, color is never one size fits all. We consider your current hair history, your scalp and strand health, your desired tone, and how often you want to be in the salon. Then we formulate with intention, so your color looks beautiful now and stays wearable as it grows out.

Our Work

Service Process

Each color and texture appointment follows a consistent, elevated process: consultation, custom formulation, application and processing, then a restorative wash and signature blowout.

Consultation

Your stylist will ask you a series of open-ended questions to ensure that you both share the same vision, going into the service, and to determine a plan of how to get the best results. This is the perfect time to show any inspiration pictures you’ve collected and share what aspects of them you like most. Your stylist will also want to know any history of color or texture treatments that could still be present on your hair.

Custom Pricing

Because each color treatment is its own journey, each service will be priced to accommodate the stylist’s time and amount of product used. The prices listed on our online booking site are approximations for each service. After the consultation, your stylist will inform you of the time and monetary investment you can expect for the service.

Contact us at (360) 306- 5317 for a more personalized description of what this might look like for your service, or to inquire about the processes involved in our texture services.

Processing Time

The processing time for each color and texture treatment is different and your stylist will let you know about how long to expect at the beginning of the service. Be sure to take advantage of our complimentary refreshments and WiFi while you wait.

Wash and Blowout

Once your color or texture treatment has processed, your stylist will guide you to our wash room. To fully wash out the chemical product that has been applied to the hair, your stylist may shampoo your hair several times. Each color service wash is completed with an application of Oligo Colour Lock, a formula that smooths and tightens the hair cuticle to lock in color while bringing the hair back to its natural pH.

Each color and texture service is completed with our signature blowout. At this point, your stylist may apply styling product to your hair to enhance the look and longevity of the style. If you like the products used during your service, check out our in-salon retail shelf or browse our online store.

Prebooking and Home Care

To conclude your appointment, your stylist will go over any home care tips to keep your color vibrant or texture looking its best. We also suggest prebooking your next appointment to ensure that your stylist will be available to refresh your look at the appropriate time.
